Jacksonville, Fl — Pastor Gilbert Haverty, of the Old Skins New Wine Church of Way, has put his foot down, and shaken it all about, metaphorically, well, his right foot, that is. Pastor Haverty decided that enough was enough, and passionately denounced the Hokey Pokey dance, no matter how innocent it may sound. He warns that one should look at these explicit lyrics, of the original tune, taken from the early 1700s. He claims that it’s very evident that the original lyrics were written by a group of charismatic people who were under the influence of tongues, as they came up with this ungodly tune. See for yourself:
Fal de ral la, fal de ral la:
Hinkumbooby, round about;
Right hands in, and left hands out,
Hinkumbooby, round about;
Fal de ral la, fal de ral la.
Now that is some real Hokey Pokey, or some real Hokem Pokem. It will not be tolerated in this church. Haverty says that there will be a church wide service of deliverance this Sunday evening, so please come prepared to completely remove your right foot, when the time comes for it. If there any questions, the Pastor will be available 15 minutes prior to the service.
After the deliverance service, there will be a celebration in the auditorium, as we celebrate The Land of a Thousand Dances. Nah, nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah nah nah,,,nah nah nah nah. In memory of Boney Moroney.
