Washington, DC — With the banner “Democracy Dies in Darkness” unfurled across the top of their website, anonymous sources are saying that the lead FBI agent that has been working in the newsroom of the Post, has been fired for leaking sensitive information to the DOJ, as well as other media sources.
“It’s a very tight spot to be in when our own agent is making up stories and then leaking them to the government, even before we publish them in our media. How quickly the feds forget that we call the shots, not them. They are a mere back-channel. Now, after we’ve had to make an example out of one of our own, they will realize that we are not to be betrayed.”
