Folks behind the scenes are saying that word has leaked out that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is in talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. The talks are centered around the Washington Commanders football franchise. Xi Jinping says that since his country already owns the current administration, he might as well have himself a football team.
Goodell seems very happy to appease the Chinese President and is anticipating that the NBA will soon follow, with an offer of the Los Angeles Lakers to Xi Jinping.
All parties expect a decision to be made as soon as China and Russia divvy up the proceeds from the Olympics.
