Washington, DC — Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm spoke today to a group of reporters. explaining what a splendid idea it was to release 50 million barrels of oil. When questioned about how long this should last, she replied:
“Well, I suppose it will be gone rather quickly because when it was reserved, the price was lower because that’s when Trump was president. So with that lower price, I would imagine the public would rush out and buy it up and begin hoarding it.”
A reporter tried to ask the Secretary another question, as she was walking away, she exclaimed,
“I don’t have time for questions now, we have to hurry and fill up our automobiles now. Thank you.”
