Trenton, NJ — Incumbent New Jersey Democratic Senator Steve Sweeney, who has been defeated in the recent election, is now claiming to have discovered 12,000 votes that weren’t counted. So, the former Senator is saying that he will not concede until all of the votes are counted.
When this news network asked Senator Sweeney about these 12,000 ballots, he told us that they were in the trunk of his car in a sealed container. He also claimed that nearly all 12,000 ballots were voters who voted for him. Sweeney claimed that he had held on to these ballots because he didn’t want it to appear that it was such a blowout. But, when it seemed his opponent was headed for a win, then he decided to bring the 12,000 ballots back into play.
Sweeney says there is no recount necessary because he can vouch for the validity of the 12,000 ballots and they are all in his favor.
