Elwood, MS — A 54 year old Elwood man has filed a lawsuit against the local pizza parlor. The man, Edgar Bryant, claims that he was triggered when he got home with his pizza and found a fortune cookie in his pizza box. He claimed that he called the pizza parlor and that he was laughed at and mocked.
We later spoke with the manager of Wayne’s Pizzeria, and he told us that Mr. Bryant is a semi-regular customer and it was a prank pulled on the customer by one of our waiters. It seems as Mr. Bryant at times, confuses our Pizzeria with the Chines restaurant down the street. We’re sorry the man became “triggered”. After more investigating, we was able to see for ourselves, the message inside the fortune cookie that triggered Mr. Bryant:
“This is your lucky day…you received a fortune cookie with your pizza. Haha.”
