Rome, Italy — It has been announced that The Apostle Paul, who was imprisoned in the Mamertine Prison in Rome, abruptly left without his bible. Now, after all these years, we can report that this bible has been found, and it is actually an authentic King James bible. Many scholars, throughout history have searched for this bible, as many stories were told, about how the Apostle Paul really loved his red-letter edition of this old authentic King James bible. Many people claimed that Paul, though Pentecostal, always appeared that he was “King James only”, when it concerned the bible. He would not carry nor suggest any other version. Paul was a King James man.

The biggest surprise in this breaking news is the fact that this particular bible was said to have been supplied to Paul by the Gideon Society from Rome. Reports says they were an anonymous underground group that snuck in and out of various places, planting Bibles where there were none. Legend has it that the Gideons heard of the Apostle Paul’s plight, and clandestinely made available, Paul’s favorite Bible version. There is also tales that have been shared with us, that when in prison, Paul the Apostle would read his KJV to the guards, and the guards would threaten him. But Paul paid no attention to the threats, as he was just so happy to have this KJV bible.

Pictures of this bible shown that it was well used, and was very tattered and marked up, apparently outlining his favorite portions. However, how the Gideons managed to lay claim on this red-letter edition, is a miracle unto itself, but the Gideons are miracle workers. Soon, we will be bringing you a story and pictures, of the sunglasses worn by the Apostle Paul during his Damascus Road experience. This may have been the very first pair of Ray-Bans known to man. However, they were not strong enough to keep him from being blinded on that experience on that dark road in Damascus. Of course, there are better shades available today.
