Sources tell us that Jesus did indeed join the Facebook Community, earlier today. Immediately upon the release of His personal page, He began to accumulate hundreds of thousands of likes. There were even some shares. However, the sad reality of it all is that He has few followers.
He made an appeal to fishermen but had few replies. Many of those who replied said that the season was not right for fishing.
He made an appeal for a few good men, to help care for widows and orphans. Again, lots of likes, but no followers.
He made one more appeal to righteous men. He asked for 50. Then 25. Then 10. Now just one righteous man.
Maybe, just maybe, we can get Him some followers. That would make a wonderful birthday surprise for Him.
